About Us

Amanda Staggs- is the keyboardist for the group and she
also sings the high harmony. She is married to the group's
drummer and they have one son, Isaac. Amanda originally
formed the group in 1989 as Witness Quartet. When she is
not traveling with the group, she is an insurance adjuster for
MS Farm Bureau and is a member of West Jackson Street
Baptist Church in Tupelo, Ms.

Jeremy Staggs- is Strongholds drummer. He also drives the
bus and is in charge of recording and engineering the group's
projects. Jeremy is originally from Ingomar, Ms and he
joined the group in 1993. Although he would prefer to be on
the road full-time, his other job is with New Albany Light,
Gas, and Water. Jeremy is a member of West Jackson
Baptist Church in Tupelo, Ms where he is a member of the
Technical Crew.

Sarah Parker- sings lead for the group and handles part of
the concert scheduling. She has been a member of the group
for several years. Sarah and her husband, Jimmy are
members of Oak Valley Christian Church in Shannon, Ms.
Sarah has five grandchildren and will gladly tell you about
them if you have time to listen!

Kevin Lowrimore- plays bass guitar and sings baritone. He
has been a group member since he was 12 years old. Kevin
also helps drive the bus and produces the group's recording
projects( Recording is a TEAM EFFORT).He and his wife, Liza
attend First Baptist Church in Coffeeville, Ms. Like the other
members of the group, he holds a full-time job but music would
definitely be his profession of choice.

Steve Sloan- is the youngest member of Stronghold. He
joined in early December 2004 and plays a mean lead guitar.
Steve is a senior at Tupelo High School and is also a
member of West Jackson Street Baptist Church. One of his
latest undertaking is this website. When not in school or on
the road, you can find Steve actively pursuing a snack....!!!
